Complicated Cocktail

"Never trust any complicated cocktail that remains perfectly clear until the last ingredient goes in, and then immediately clouds." - Terry Pratchett
I can't believe Terry Pratchett has Alzheimer's. What a bummer - horrible for him, and no more Discworld for us. But anyway, in his honor, I'd like to share this recipe I found for a complicated cocktail:
The Hiroshima Bomber
3/4 oz triple sec
1/4 oz Bailey's Irish cream
2 to 3 drops of grenadine syrup
Pour the triple sec into a shot glass. Carefully layer the Bailey's on top of the triple sec (in bartending school they tell you to pour over the back of a spoon), and add a few drops of grenadine into the center. Supposedly it will billow up like an atomic mushroom cloud.
As I have not actually made this cocktail myself (I don't keep grenadine on hand, as a rule, nor triple sec, nor Bailey's) I can't share a picture, nor can I find a picture anyone else took (copyright-free or otherwise). What I can share, however, is a picture of my son in front of the original Hiroshima Bomber, the Enola Gay which is now at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA. (That isn't a cocktail he's drinking, it's a diet Coke.)
